The voyages in Norway are inclusive all meals, coffee and tea.
The meals are prepared by our Chef.
In the small bar onboard we have beer, soda and wine for sale.
The barbill is settled at the end of the voyage in Euro or Norwegian Crown.

It can be cold in Norway this time of the year (November and December).
Therefore it is necessary to bring warm clothing:
Thermo underwear
Warm (woollen)sweater
Shower and windproof chlothing
Cap and gloves/mitten
Stout shoes which are comfortable on the deck and for a hike
Do not forget:
Camera
Binoculars
Your bunk is provided with bedclothes.
We have 220V electricity in each cabin,
US passengers will need a 110V / 220V transformer.
The ship's library is provided with books about Norways flora and fauna,
you will also find novels in several languages.
The spoken language onboard is English.
The Norwegian currency is the Norwegian Crown.

Travelinfo Spitsbergen (summer)
The voyages around Spitsbergen are inclusive all meals, coffee and tea.
The meals are prepared by our Chef.
In the small bar we have beer, soda, wine and strong drinks for sale.
The barbill is settled at the end of the voyage in Euro or Norwegian Crown.
We do not appreciate it if you bring your own drinks.
It can be very cold around Spitsbergen in summertime.
Therefore it is necessary to bring warm clothing which is also suitable for hiking:
Thermo underwear
Warm (woollen)sweater
Wind and waterproof clothing
Cap and shawl/buff
Gloves/mitten (bring reserve pair)
Footwear:
Absolutly necesarry to bring Wellies for wet landings with the Zodiac.
Would you like to hike on your Wellies too, bring stout ones with tread.
If you will use them only for wet landings and hike on your hikingshoes,
a simple cheap pair of Wellies will do. Please bring gaiters with your shoes,
the hike can be through snow or over wet tundra.

Our zodiacdriver will bring you ashore with the Zodiac.
This is a rubb er dinghy with outboard engine suitable for landings on beaches and rocky coasts.
If you book a Snowshoevoyage, snowshoes are inclusive.

Basecamp Spitsbergen is the touroperator taking care of
dogsled- and snow-mobile safaris to the ship in the ice.
Inclusive in the booking is the use of Arctic clothing:
